A function for controlling send bandwidth in boundary nodes.
Spanning tree algorithm
An algorithm that is used in routing by bridges forming a logical tree structure. This
algorithm makes it possible to set single routes between 2 random ESs and prevent
frame looping.

Stateless address auto-configuration function
A function for automatically generating IPv6 link local address within the device and
notifying necessary data when the host automatically generates IPv6 addresses.
Static routing
A routing method in which the user sets route data according to configuration
definitions.

An IEEE-standardized VLAN that is capable of conveying VLAN data in separate
segments by embedding identifiers known tags in Ethernet frames
Timeslot
Lines in time divisions by multiplex access
Traffic class
Specifies the content of traffic control. It entails the setting of service categories
CBR, VBR, ABR, UBR, GFR and GFR2 and traffic parameters.
Traffic engineering
A technology in which traffic is distributed by detouring the relevant traffic and
avoiding congestion when specific routes are congested due to large-volume traffic.
Transparent bridge
A relay device that executes relays by MAC sub-layer.
Trap
An event notification sent asynchronously from SNMP agents to SNMP managers.

A transport-layer transfer protocol
Unspecified address
Addresses in which all bits are 0 0:0:0:0:0:0:0:0 (0::0 or ::) are defined as unspecified
addresses. Unspecified addresses indicate to the interface that there is no address.
