6.2 Changing Login User Password
It is recommended that the password of a login user be changed regularly for better
security during operation of the router. In particular change the password in the
following cases.
When network configuration is changed significantly
When an operation terminal IP address that can log in to the router using a
configuration definition command (CLI Type 1) (router) is added
When a log message (see Subsection 6.3.1, “Confirming history of login”)
indicating there is an illegal login operation in the operation log or messages
To change a password, use a password command.
