Inspection of Log Messages
One of the causes for communication error is hardware (RP/NIF/line) failure or
damage. The following procedure displays hardware error messages among the
router’s log messages. For the log message contents, see the Operation log and MIB.
Step 1.
Log in to the own router from the device management terminal.
Step 2.
Display log messages by using the
show logging
command.
