Ensure that the Interface in the target Address is appropriate. If no interface
name is shown, IPv6 PIM-SM are not operating in that interface. Check the
configuration information to see if the corresponding interface is set to “IPv6 PIM
enable.” In addition, ensure that the interface is not failing.
Ensure that the Nbr Count (number of neighbor PIM routers) in the target
Interface is appropriate. If “0” is shown, there may not be a neighbor IPv6 PIM
router or the neighbor PIM router may not have sent the PIM-Hello. Inspect the
neighbor PIM router.
5.7.2.2 Adjacent information
Enter the show ipv6 rpf command from the terminal and ensure that the Neighbor
Address in the target Address is appropriate. If no Neighbor Address is shown, the
neighbor PIM router may not have sent the PIM-Hello. Inspect the neighbor PIM
router.
