(d) Timeslot Status Checkout:
Check out the Timeslot status using a show interfaces command. The remedy for
Timeslot status is shown in the table below.
(e) Link Layer Protocol Status Checkout:
Check out the link layer protocol status of the subject line or timeslot by using the
show interfaces command.

Check out the status of LCP and NCP (IPCP/IPv6CP/IPXCP/BridgeNCP/
MPLSCP) according to Table 7-13.
6 test This subline including timeslots is being
tested by the test interfaces or bert
command. To restart communication, stop line test by using no
test interfaces command or no bert command.
7 initialized This line is restarting after error
detection. Same as above.
8 locked Operation of this subline is suspended
by configuration information. Ensure that a cable is connected to the line to be
used, and set this line and subline to active by
altering the configuration information.
Note *: The line means the leased line of E1 (CE 3 leased line) or T1 (CT3 leased line).

2 active down This timeslot has a line error. Obtain the log message for the subject line using
show logging command, and take necessary
troubleshooting actions in accordance with the
obtained log message (,” in GR2000 Operations
Log and MIB Reference).
3 unused Timeslot configuration information is not
defined under this timeslot. Define configuration information for the line,
subline and timeslot to be used.
4 closed Operation of this timeslot is suspended
by close command. Set this timeslot to active by using free command.
5 test Line including this timeslot is being
tested by test interfaces or bert
command. To restart communication, stop line test by using
the no test interfaces command or no bert
command.
6 initialized This timeslot is restarting or not
restarted after error detection. (*) Same as above.
7 locked Operation of this timeslot is suspended
by configuration information. Ensure that a cable is connected to the line to be
used, and set this line, subline and timeslot to
active by altering the configuration information.
Note *: If the logic port back-up has been defined by BRI (leased line), PRI (leased line) and 6.3M interface (leased
line), the unused interface will not actuate (except when the line to be backed is ISDN and during automatic
cut-back). The present status appears at this time.
