5.2.12.1 Confirmation after setting of configuration definition
(a) Confirmation of IP address acquisition
IP addresses can be acquired if a DHCP server exists in the same network as the
interface of the router specified using a configuration definition command
(dhcp-client) after a DHCP client function is set. Execute a show dhcp lease
command and confirm whether IP addresses can be acquired. Also confirm
whether IP addresses can be acquired when an option is specified using a
configuration definition command (dhcp-client) so that a default router address
or DNS server address can be acquired from the DHCP server.

5.2.12.2 Confirmation during operation
(a) Confirmation of operational state
Execute a show ip dhcp client statistics command and confirm the operational
state of the DHCP client. See Subsection 7.5.2, “IP addresses cannot be assigned
using DHCP function” for the contents of confirmation.
5.2.13 Confirming the NAT, NAPT function
The contents of confirmation when a NAT, NAPT function is used in the router are as
described below.

(a) Confirmation of NAT/NAPT rule information
Execute a show ip nat translations command and confirm that the NAT and
NAPT translation rules set using a configuration definition command (nat) are
displayed.
