5.9 Confirmation of Qos function
5.9.1 Confirming QoS control function
The contents of confirmation during operation are as described below when a QoS
control function is used in the router.
5.9.1.1 Confirmation of packet discard by band control
Execute a show qos ip-flow command to display IP flow statistical information and
confirm the number of packets that are discarded by the band control of a QoS
function. If the number of discarded packets is large, packets may be discarded in
the communication part where they must not be discarded. Confirm the current
operational state of a network.

5.9.1.2 Confirmation of packet discard by queue control
Execute a show qos queueing command to display output priority queue information
and confirm the number of packets that are discarded by the queue control of a QoS
function. If the number of discarded packets is large, packets may be discarded in
the communication part where they must not be discarded. Confirm the current
operational state of a network.
