1 – Starting a Site Controller III System
Introduction
This manual is provided to assist in the start-up of a GASBOY Cash Flow Network (CFN) Site
Controller (SC) III system. The CFN Series system is a computerized data acquisition system.
As the person who performs the start-up procedure, you should already be familiar with all the
CFN SC III manuals. Proper installation according to the CFN SC III Installation Manual is
critical to ensure correct and trouble-free operation. The CFN SC III system includes a one
year parts and labor warranty against defective material and/or workmanship.
Note: Non-compliance with the specifications in the MDE-4298 CFN SC III Installation
Manual and the checks in the accompanying Start-up Form could void the warranty.
For CFN III Version 3.3, Windows NT ® Software will continue to be shipped. For CFN
III Versions 3.5 and above, Windows ® XPE Software will be shipped.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
While performing the start-up process, any deviations from the specifications listed in the SC
III Installation Manual should be corrected. If any tests fail, correct the wiring or system
problem and perform the test again. If you have any questions, cannot proceed to the next step,
or you want authorization for exceptions, please contact GASBOY Technical Service at
