The possible configuration programs are: SYS_PAR, READER, PUMP, CONSOLE, TABLE,
TRFMT, PERM, GATE, and FUELPT. Detailed information on these programs can be found
in the MDE-4773 CFN III Configuration Manual for Windows XP Embedded. The following
list contains items which may require changing the SC configuration:
• Use SYS_PAR parameters to change the Site ID #, Switch timeouts, and Pulser timeouts.
• Serial port configuration. Ensure if all devices are plugged into the correct ports, and the
printer (if present) is set up according to the instructions provided earlier in this section.
• Use PUMP to check configuration to ensure if correct pumps were set up at the factory.
Reassign PCUs if changes were made to previous pump types. If pulse rates need to be
changed, open S4 at the back of the SC III boards (slide away from loop connectors).
• If using a network, refer to the applicable Credit and Debit Card Networks Manual, for
specific network configuration considerations.
• If using Tokheim DPTs, refer to DPT Instructions available in C09146 Pump Interface
Manual or contact GASBOY Technical Service.
• If using a CheckPoint or Profit Point, refer to the appropriate manuals listed in Section 1
for any special configuration considerations.
• If using Gate Reader, it is possible to configure the Prompts and Timeouts parameters.
• If using a tank monitoring system, it is possible to configure the add to inventory and log
delivery parameters.
• Use FUELPT to set the nozzle ring assignments and other Fuel Point parameters.
• If using Unitec Car Wash option, you can use the GATE program to set parameters, types,
and discounts.
