The VMS provides a table of configured devices through the ipHardwareTable
MIB branch. This allows a Northbound management entity to list the hardware
configured in the VMS database. The hardware is identified by its IP address
and type. To retrieve this table, the VMS must be targeted with a community
string of “server”.
