Using Parameter Editor
Selection from the tree menu in the left panel of the window displays the appli-
cable parameters in the right panel, using a combination of text fields, pull-
down menus, check boxes, and radio buttons.
Information Help
Information on a parameter is available via the integrated help feature. The user
clicks on the ? (question mark) button in the upper right of the Title bar, then
clicks on the desired parameter label or field. A text pop-up appears containing
a description of the parameter. An example is shown in figure 4-3, below.

Configuration Changes
When changes are made to a modem unit configuration with Parameter Editor,
these changes are saved by clicking on the OK button at the bottom of the
Editor window. Alternatively, these changes are ignored by either clicking on
the Cancel button or closing the Editor window.
Caution: Clicking the OK button saves all of the data from all of the menu
category dialogs simultaneously to the modem unit Param file. The
