• Due to the location of its side-configured cooling vents and exhaust fans, the
CDM-800 Gateway Router CANNOT have slide rails mounted to the sides of its
chassis – airflow must not be impeded. Comtech EF Data therefore recommends
that an alternate method of support is provided within the rack, such as
standard rack shelves or the optional Rear-Mounting Support Bracket Kits. If
there is any doubt, contact Comtech EF Data Product Support.

Mount the CTOG-250 and the CDM-800 Gateway Router into their assigned positions in the rack
enclosure. Use, as required:
• Standard rack shelving;
