Installing or Removing the Hard Drive

Operation of the CTOG-250 requires continual read/write access to the hard drive.

The CTOG-250 is not intended to function for extended periods with the hard drive

removed from operation. Note that only hard drives provided by Comtech EF Data

are recommended for use in the CTOG-250.

The CTOG-250 features a hot-swappable SATA hard drive mounted into a removable drive

carrier (Figure 1-8). Up to eight hard drives may be installed in the CTOG-250 chassis. Depending

on the configured jumper settings, each drive carrier features two operational LEDS – green

indicating normal operational conditions (read/write access), and red to indicate drive failure.
