Throughput
Throughput
The objective of this test is to find the throughput of the device under test
for which there is no frame loss. Starting at full media speed, the rate
converges towards the highest throughput without frame loss with the test
having a predefined duration (Test Time). The search is done with a basic
halving/doubling method until a final value is reached. The test performs
the number of trials defined (Number of trials to average). The Accuracy
and Nb of acceptable errors settings specify how precise that result must
be. At the end, the results are validated the number of times specified (Nb
of validations). The test is performed for each defined frame size.
