Sending a Fax from the Driver (Direct Fax)

You can send a fax directly from your computer by using the driver.

NOTE:

Only black and white faxes can be sent using Direct Fax.

NOTE:

If the specified start time overlaps with the time periods for the available time or the Fax function, the printer cannot send

the delayed fax at the specified time. (For details, see "Set Available Time" for the Available time and "Function Enabled" for the

Fax function.)

Procedure

NOTE:

The names of the dialog boxes and the buttons may be different from those given in the following procedure depending

on the application you are using.

NOTE:

To use this feature, you must install the fax driver. (For details, see "Inserting the Software and Documentation Disc" for

Windows or "Installing the Drivers and Software" for Macintosh.)

1 Open the file you want to send by fax.
2 Open the print dialog box from the application, and then select Dell C2665dnf Color MFP Fax.
3 Click Preferences in Windows, or select FAX Setting in Macintosh.
