A Warper Node Example
The Warper node is extremely flexible, and can be used for a wide variety of image
distortion or manipulation tasks. In this example, we’ll use the Warper to change a dog’s
facial features.
To warp an image:
1 Attach the Warper node to an image.
2 First, draw and, if necessary, animate your source shapes (see “ Drawing New Shapes ” on
page 832).
These shapes define the parts of the subject you want to warp.
3 When you’re ready to finish your shape, do one of the following:
• Click the first point if you want to create a closed shape.
• Double-click when creating the last point to create an open shape.
• To create a single-point shape, immediately after creating your first point, right-click
and choose Finish Shape from the shortcut menu.
To add additional source shapes to define additional warp areas, click the Add Shape
button. Each shape you create using the Morpher node is yellow, indicating that it’s
unassigned and does not yet have any effect on the image.
