Syntax
exit
Parameters
none
Description
Use the EXIT command to quit the Configuration Terminal mode and enter
the Privileged Executive mode. After you enter this command, the prompt
changes to “Switchname#” to indicate the Privileged Executive mode.

Example
Enter the following commands to exit the Configuration Terminal mode
and return the software to the Privileged Executive mode:
switch#configure terminal
switch(config)#exit
The software displays the following prompt:
switch#
