AM/FM Analysis
AM Analysis
Description When amplitude modulation is turned on, the
input signal is centered on the center frequency
and the span is automatically set to zero-span.
Measurement
items AM Depth: Current, Min, Max
Mod. Rate: Current, Min, Max
Carrier Pwr: Current, Min, Max
Carrier Freq Offset: Current, Min, Max
SINAD: Current, Min, Max
Operation:
configuration 1. Set the center frequency to the carrier frequency
(page 39).
2. Press
Meas
> Demod[F2]>AM Analysis[F1]>AM
Analysis[F1] and turn AM analysis on.
 Any other measurement mode will automatically be
disabled.
3. The display splits into two screens. The top
shows the AM waveform in the time domain.
The bottom screen shows the AM
measurement.
