Function description
Setting:
A software enable is also required in the commissioning software (log-
ic AND connection).
The enable can also be permanently activated ("Basic Setup" window
in the PDrive commissioning software).
][Funktion_Ein_dig_X3_8_11_DD5
Digital inputs DIGITAL-IN1 ... 4 (X3/8 … 11)
Functions:
These fast inputs are suitable for latch functions or rapid feedback
signals, for example.
These inputs can be assigned to evaluate limit switches (PSTOP and
NSTOP), for example.
You can use the digital inputs to initiate pre-programmed functions
stored in the servo amplifier.
PLC-compatible (IEC 61131-2, Type 1), volt-free, reference earth is
DGND
Setting:
Select the required function in the PDrive commissioning software
("Digital I/O" window).
][Funktion_Ein_Aus_Param_neu
If a pre-programmed function has been newly assigned, the data
record must be stored in the servo amplifier's EEPROM and the unit
must be reset (e.g. using the commissioning software).
][Funktion_Ein_dig_STO_ENABLE_DD5
Safety function STO, digital input STO-ENABLE (X4/5)
The digital input STO-ENABLE is used to shut down the inverted rectifier
safely.
The safety function STO is triggered through a single channel.
The servo amplifier is ready for operation when there is a 24 V signal
at the input.
If the STO-ENABLE input is open, no more power is transferred to the
motor. The drive becomes torque-free and runs down.
In conjunction with the output from a safety relay or safety control
system, you can safely prevent the drive from restarting.
Requirements of the output on a safety control system or safety relay:
PL d (Cat. 2) of EN ISO 13849-1, SIL CL 2 of EN/IEC 62061
If the safety function STO is
not needed, STO-ENABLE must be con-
nected directly to 24 V.
This input is not compatible with IEC 61131-2.
Volt-free, reference earth is XGND
