6.2.12 Modem
rings
This command is used to configure the number of rings that the modem will
answer an outside call. This is for a POS4000 feature that is no longer
supported.
This command will take a few moments to execute (depending upon
the number of remote consoles to program). Do not attempt to perform
any activity at any of the consoles while downloading is in progress.
As the information is being passed to the remote console, verification
messages will be displayed on the POS4000 screen. The last message
to be downloaded is “ACK DWLD Tax Rate”; if you see this message
displayed for more than 15 seconds, the downloading is complete.
Press the Clear button.
