1) Determine the addresses to configure any remote bays or consoles.
2) Power on the main console with the Green communications plug
disconnected.
3) Configure the main console as unit 1 (Section 6.2.11.1)
4) Configure the main console as Controller (Section 6.2.11.2)
5) Configure the Number of Bays and Consoles for the main controller (Section
6.2.11.3)
6) Leave main console unplugged from the communications cable. Turn off
power.
7) If you are using multiple bays, configure their addresses (unit numbers).
Reference POS4000 Interface board wiring diagram in this manual.
8) If you are installing a remote console, continue otherwise skip to step 15.
9) Power on remote console with communications cable unplugged.
10) Configure remote console unit number (Section 6.2.11.1). Remember the
first remote console is unit number 3 in a single carwash scenario, and unit 4
in a two bay carwash etc).
11) Configure the remote console as remote (Section 6.2.11.2)
12) Configure the number of bays and remote consoles (Section 6.2.11.3)
(remember the number of remote consoles as programmed into a remote
console is always 0)
13) Turn Remote console off
14) If you have any more remote consoles perform steps 9-13 on each other
