4.5.7. Setting the DO output

Description
Selects the output of total pulses and statuses (alarm, flow switch, total switch, etc.).

Settable ranges (common to DO1 and DO2)

NOT USED

: Do not use the contact output.

+TOTAL PULSE

: Output the forward total pulses.

–TOTAL PULSE

: Output the reverse total pulses.

FLOW SPAN-2

: Select a contact output at SPAN-2 measurement status (forward automatic 2 ranges,

forward/reverse automatic 2 ranges).

ALARM

HARDWARE

: Select a contact output at EEPROM error.

PROCESS

: Select a contact output when wave is not received or is unstable.

FLOW SWITCH

UPPER SWITCH

: Select a contact output when flow rate is above the setting.

LOWER SWITCH : Select a contact output when flow rate is below the setting.

TOTAL SWITCH

: Select a contact output when total value exceeds the setting.

CONTACT ACTION

ACTIVE ON

: Normally OFF (DO1) or normally open (DO2).

ACTIVE OFF

: Normally ON (DO1) or normally closed (DO2).

Note: DO output specifications

DO1

: Open collector, contact capacity 30 V DC, 0.1 A.

When total pulse output is selected (See 4.5.6.1)

1 pulse/day to 100 pulses/s (at full scale flow rate).
Pulse width: 5, 10, 50, 100 or 200 ms.

DO2

: Relay contact, contact capacity 220 V AC/30 V DC, 1 A.

Life ... 200,000 operations (under rated load), replaceable with socket.
When total pulse output is selected (See 4.5.6.1)

1 pulse/day to 1 pulse/s (at full scale flow rate).
Pulse width: 50, 100 or 200 ms.

For actual keying, refer to the typical operation indicated below. Set the parameter protection to OFF beforehand
(Section 4.4.1).
