5.7. Troubleshooting
5.7.1. If indication is abnormal
Symptom Cause
No indication (blank).
z Power is not turned on.
z Source voltage is too low.
z Fuse is blown.
z LCD is defective. To “Section 5.7.6. Remedying a hardware
fault.”
z ˠ˟ power polarity is inverted.
1st line is indicated black.
z Source voltage is too low.
z DC power polarity is inverted.
z LCD is defective. To “Section 5.7.6. Remedying a hardware
fault.”
Indication is undefined.
z Hardware error. To “Section 5.7.6. Remedying a hardware
fault.”
Indication is dim.
z Ambient temperature is too low (below -20 qC).
Raise the temperature.
z End of LCD unit life. Replace the LCD unit.
Entirely black
z Ambient temperature is too high (50 qC or higher).
Lower the temperature.
Some characters on the LED are
missing.
LED is extinguished.
z Check the LCD/LED, following the procedure in “5.7.1.1. Checking
the LCD/LED.” Missing dots on LCD. LED is not lit.
To “Section 5.7.6. Remedying a hardware fault.”
LED is lit in red.
z Wave receiving error
Check by following the procedure in
“5.7.1.2. Checking the LED lit in red.”
