and the full binning modes:

2 x full binning (a combination of 2 x H-binning and 2 x V-binning)

4 x full binning (a combination of 4 x H-binning and 4 x V-binning)

8 x full binning (a combination of 8 x H-binning and 8 x V-binning)

Vertical binning

Vertical binning increases the light sensitivity of the camera by a factor of two
(4 or 8) by adding together the values of two (4 or 8) adjoining vertical pixels
output as a single pixel. This is done directly in the horizontal shift register of
the sensor.

Format_7 Mode_2

By default and without further remapping use Format_7 Mode_2 for

2 x vertical binning.

This reduces vertical resolution, depending on the model.
