Sorting limits
If the measured value exceeds the sorting limits, the ND activates the
outputs at pin 17 or pin 18 (see "Sorting and tolerance checking" on
page 58).

Trigger signal for error
The ND constantly monitors the measuring signal, the input
frequency, the data output, etc., and displays an error message if it
detects an error. If errors occur that seriously influence measurement
or data output, the ND activates the output at pin 19. This feature
allows monitoring of automated processes.
Zero crossover
If the display value is zero, the ND activates the output at pin 14. The
minimum signal duration is 180 ms.
