Switching outputs test
The ND 287 displays all switching outputs at connection X41
together with their designations, a gray/green dot and their current
states (HIGH or LOW; see "Switching outputs at D-sub connection
X41" on page 95). To start the switching outputs test:
 Press the CYCLIC TEST soft key to activate (= LOW, open collector)
all outputs successively for 1 second.
 To exit the cyclic test, press the CURRENT STATE soft key or
the C hard key.
Danger to internal components!
 The power supply of external circuits must comply with
EN 50178 requirements for low voltage electrical
separation

 Connect inductive loads only with a quenching diode
parallel to the inductance

Danger to internal components!
Use only shielded cables and connect the shield to the
connector housing
