6. In the tree view under Target File click Add .
The Preset Editor opens.
7. Select the preset you want to use.
This preset specifies the format of the files as exported/transcoded out of the K2 system. Select
one of default presets provided by the Coder software. Do not select one of the default K2 presets
provided by Grass Valley.
8. Click Update , OK and OK to save settings and close.
Using the K2 Coder
Prerequisites are as follows:
• You have configured the K2 Coder as directed by the configuration procedures earlier in this
section
On the K2 Coder you can find the pre-configured folders at V:\K2Coder . In this directory you will
find the SourceFiles folder and the DestFiles folder. If you configured an Import Watch Folder
for HD, you will also find the HDSourceFiles folder. These are the only folders that you need to
access as you use the K2 Coder. Do not alter the names or locations of any of the folders in
V:\K2Coder .
