RS-422 specification
The RS-422 interface conforms to ANSI/SMPTE 207M-1997 standard
(SMPTE 422).
The K2 Summit Production Client and K2 Solo Media Server specification is shown

standard at 1x speed, forward direction only.
Parameter Specification
VITC waveform lines 10-20 NTSC (525 Line); lines 10-22 PAL (625 Line)
VITC is decoded on each SDI input and inserted on each SDI output.
VITC Reader configurable for a search window (specified by two lines)
or set to manual mode (based on two specified lines).
VITC Writer inserts VITC data on two selectable lines per field in the
vertical interval. The two lines have the same data.
VITC is not decoded off of the video reference input.
