stand-alone K2 clients (optional)
If you transfer media to/from the stand-alone K2 client, create a FTP/streaming
network.
1. In the
Network Configuration | Networks
tree view, select a System node or a Site
node.
2. Proceed as follows:
• To add a network under the currently selected node, in the tree view right-click
the node and select
Add Network
.
The Network Settings dialog box opens.
3. Configure the settings for the network as follows:

None is required. This is true even on a redundant K2 SAN. (Only the iSCSI
network is redundant on a redundant K2 SAN.)

Base IP Address
The first (lowest) IP address in the range of IP addresses managed by
SiteConfig. Required.
Number of Addresses
The number of IP addresses in the range managed by SiteConfig. Required.
Subnet Mask
The network's subnet mask. Required.
Gateway IP Address
Additional network settings managed by SiteConfig. Allowed.
Unmanaged
Unselected is required. Related settings are disabled.
DNS Servers
Servers providing DNS for name resolution. Allowed.
Default Interface
Name Suffix
Not allowed
