Running the iTX installer
Start the iTX installer
1. Download the zip file from the Grass Valley website and copy it to the computer you wish
to install iTX on.
2. Depending on the security settings of your computer, you might need to make sure that
the installation process will not be blocked as potentially dangerous. Right click the zip file
and select ‘properties’.
3. From the properties menu, select the ‘General’ tab. If the computer is configured to block
the installation of files that could be harmful, the bottom section of the menu will have a
Security statement: “This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help
protect this computer”. Click ‘unblock’. Click OK.
4. Extract the zip file’s contents into the directory you wish to install the software from.
NOTE: You must be logged on to the local machine with administrative user rights in order
for the installation process to continue successfully.
5. Open the iTX suite folder and righ-click Setup.exe. Select ‘Run as Administrator’ if this
option is available. If not, simply double-click the Setup.exe to begin the installation
process.
The installer checks to see whether or not the pre-requisite software is installed on the
machine.
