Configure the Proxy All workflow definition
For the Proxy All workflow definition, you should set: the frequency with which the Workflow
Service repeats the defined workflow process; also, the limits of the period within which it can
run the process.
If you want proxy files to be generated for just a particular group of video clips (rather than all
video clips), you need to the add search criteria that enables the service to find the required
clips.
1.
Select the Media Rules tab in the Workflow Configuration window.
2.
Select Proxy All in the Media Rules list.
The window displays details of the workflow definition.
3.
Do the following if you want the workflow process to apply only to video clips that meet
certain criteria.

Click
to the right of the Criteria box to open the PinPoint dialog.
•
Specify search criteria to enable the Workflow Service to find the assets you want it to
perform jobs for.
•
Close the PinPoint dialog.
4.
Do the following in the Schedule Pattern section of the window.
•
Specify how often the Workflow Service should repeat the workflow process.
•
Specify the start and end of the period within which the Workflow Service is allowed to
run the process.
5.
Click Save.
Configure the Media Flow Export Asset workflow definition
For the Export Asset workflow definition, you specify the destination(s) for exported assets. To
do this, you need to be familiar with XML tags.
1.
Select the Complex tab in the Workflow Configuration window.
2.
Select Export Asset in the Complex Workflows list.
The Workflow Configuration window displays details of the workflow definition. These
include an example destination entry (in an XML element) in the Additional Config box.
3.
Replace the values for the Name and URI attributes in the example destination entry with
the details of a destination you want the Workflow Service to export assets to. Add entries
for other destinations if you want to.
4.
Click Save.
