Change the colour of a schedule event type
For each type of schedule event, you select: the text colour in the ForeColour box; the colour of
the background strip in the BackColour box. iTX displays the text and background colours in the
Sample Text box.
1.
In the Colour Selector tool, click the ForeColour preview box for a schedule event type.
Select the text colour through the Colour Selector.
2.
Click the BackColour preview box for the schedule event type.
Select the background colour through the Colour Selector.
Add a new schedule event type
To identify categories of video clips (for example: commercials, programmes, branding) in the
Schedule Grid and Timeline Display, you can add a new schedule event type to the Colour
Selector tool.
1.
Click New Type on the Colour Selector tool.
The Colour Type dialog appears.
2.
Enter the name for the event type in the Name box.
3.
Click the ForeColor box.
Select the text colour through the Colour Selector.
4.
Click the BackColor box.
Select the background colour through the Colour Selector.
5.
Click OK to close the Colour Type dialog.
The Colour Selector tool displays the new schedule event type.
Note:
•
When an operator includes a video clip of a particular type in a schedule event, iTX
displays the event in the event-type colour while the event status is "Ready" (the clip is
available to play out). As iTX plays out a schedule, the event changes colour to indicate
its current status (cued, on air, etc.).
Delete a schedule event type
You can delete any schedule event type in the Colour Selector tool.
1.
Select an event type in the Colour Selector control.
2.
Click Delete Type.
The Colour Selector tool removes the schedule event type.
Restore the default colour scheme
When you restore the default colour scheme, any schedule event types you added are
removed.

Click Default on the Colour Selector tool.
