Configuration guidelines
•
The host traffic statistics function is implemented on each virtual device independently.
•
For TCP and UDP packets, traffic statistics is implemented based on the specified destination port
numbers.
•
The host traffic statistics function does not support VPN multi-instance.
•
You are recommended not to deploy a network where traffic from a host passes through different
virtual devices, because you cannot judge which virtual device generates the statistics in the log
information in that case.
•
The host traffic statistics function does not apply to multicast packets.
•
The virtual device can implement traffic statistics for up to 200 hosts simultaneously. When the
maximum number is reached, the device does not implement traffic statistics for any new host until
a host is aged out.
