3.5.2 Direct Current (DC) Power Connector (Optional, CDM-600L only)
This optional connector supplies the Direct Current (DC) power to
the modem.
Note the following:
DC Power Specifications
Input Power 250W maximum, 55W typical without BUC power supply
Input Voltage 38-60 VDC
Connector Type Molex 03-12-1026 with 08-12-1222 terminals
Fuse Protection T3.15A Slow-blow 20mm fuses without internal BUC power supply
8.0A Slow-blow 20 mm fuses with internal BUC power supply
Positive and negative fusing
IMPORTANT
For continued operator safety, always replace the fuses with
the correct type and rating.
3.5.3 Ground Connector
A #10-32 stud is used for connecting a common chassis ground
among equipment. The stud location differs between the
CDM-600L and the CDM-600 chassis (see left).
Note: The AC power connector provides the safety ground.
