Note: Parameters may only be edited if the Interface Type is G.703. The choices displayed
depend on which G.703 interface type has been selected.
Use the the [
←][→] arrow keys to select the parameter to edit. Select the appropriate G.703 code
using the [
↑][↓] arrow keys, then press [ENT]. The choices available are as follows:
► HDB3 (for E1, E2 or sub-rate operation)
► B6ZS (for balanced T2 operation)
► B8ZS ( for T1 and unbalanced T2 operation)
► AMI

Note: Parameters may only be edited if the Framing Mode is IDR.
This menu permits a user to decide if the 64 kbps channel in the IDR Engineering Service
Channel (ESC) overhead (normally reserved for the two 32 kbps ADPCM audio channels) should
instead carry user data. The rear panel Overhead connector provides the appropriate RS-422
interface for this option.
Use the the [
←][→] arrow keys to select the parameter to edit (Tx or Rx), then select the appropriate
IDR-ESC-Type (64kData or Audio) using the [
↑][↓] arrow keys. Press [ENT] when done.
