E.3.3.1.3.3 ODU SELECT: ALARMS
ALARMS: CURRENT-ALARMS STORED-ALARMS
Select CURRENT-ALARMS or STORED-ALARMS using the [
←][→] arrow keys, then press
[ENT].
ALARMS: CURRENT-ALARMS
CURRENT STATUS: TX = OK RX = OK
POWER-SUPPLY = OK MISC = OK
Selecting CURRENT-ALARMS provides a read-only summary of the current CSAT status. If
any of the items display “FT,” then that feature is faulted, and the user should view the Stored
Events Log for details.
ALARMS: STORED-ALARMS
As the stored events are being read, this screen displays as follows:
READING STORED FAULTS..... PLEASE WAIT
Once events are collated, the Stored Alarms screen updates as per the following example:
STORED ALARMS: CLR-ALL: NO (NO,YES)
IF #84: 10/14/04 12:52:08 POWER ON
Events are shown on the bottom line of the display. Using the example, observe the following:
IF
The entry type, where:
• IF = Information
• FT = Fault
• OK = Fault CLEARED
#84
The event / entry number. Up to 100 entries, numbered 00 through 99, are
stored.
10/14/04
The date, in international format, that the event was logged.
12:52:08
The time that the event was logged.
POWER ON
Event information / description of the fault.
Use the [
←][→] arrow keys move the cursor between the CLR-ALL option on the top line and
the stored even on the bottom line, then use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to select entries on a per-event
basis.
To clear the Stored Alarms log, use the [
←][→] arrow keys move the cursor to the CLR-ALL
option on the top line, then use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to select NO or YES, then press [ENT].
