To edit the brightness of the VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display), use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to
select a suitable brightness level. The selectable values are 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%. Press [ENT]
when done.

FRONT PANEL LAMP TEST: DISABLED
(ENABLED, DISABLED)
Select Enable or Disable using the [
↑][↓] arrow keys, then press [ENT] to test all of the LEDs
on the front panel. Normal operations resume upon completion of the test.

PRESS ENTER KEY TO FORCE UNIT INTO
STANDBY (1:1 ONLY)
If the unit is part of a 1:1 redundant pair of modems, and this unit is currently online, press [ENT]
to cause the unit to switch to standby.

UTILITIES: EDIT-CIRCUIT-ID
EDIT THIS MODEM’S CIRCUIT ID:

This menu allow the user to enter a Circuit ID string. Use the [
←][→] arrow keys to position the
cursor on to the character to be edited, then edit the character using [
↑][↓] arrow keys. The
following characters are available:
[Space] ( ) * + - , . / 0-9 and A-Z.
Only the bottom line (40 characters) is available. Once the Circuit ID string is composed, press
[ENT].
