CONFIGURATION

Æ RX-PARAM Æ BAND

LNB RX BAND:
A B C

This menu is available only for use with the KST-2000B unit, and is used to set the LNB Rx
Frequency Band. Select A, B, or C using the [

][] arrow keys, then press [ENT].

(Displayed only when the ODU is a KST-2000A unit)

HPA:OFF FAULT-LOGIC=SUMMARY
LNA:OFF FAULT-LOGIC=SUMMARY CAL:NO

(Displayed only when the ODU is a KST-2000B unit)

HPA:OFF FAULT-LOGIC=SUMMARY
LNB:OFF FAULT-LOGIC=SUMMARY CAL:NO

Select the parameter to edit – HPA, (HPA) FAULT-LOGIC, LNA/LNB, (LNA/LNB) FAULT-
LOGI
C, or CAL – using the [

][] arrow keys, then use the [][] arrow keys to modify that

parameter setting. Press [ENT] when done. Observe the following:

HPA (HPA

State)

Select OFF or ON to enable HPA power.

FAULT-LOGIC

Select SUMMARY or NO_SUMM

ARY.

Fault-Logic controls whether or not a

HPA fault will be indicated on the Fault status and will activate the Summary
Fault Relay.

LNA / LNB

(Operating State: LNA = KST-2000A / LNB= KST-2000B) Select OFF or ON
to enable LNA/LNB power.

FAULT-LOGIC

Select SUMMARY or NO_SUMM

ARY

. Fault-Logic controls whether or not a

LNA/LNB fault will be indicated on the Fault status and will activate the
Summary Fault Relay.

CAL

(Calibration) Performed at initial installation only. Calibration allows the
system to determine nominal LNA/LNB power consumption. Select YES,
then press [ENT] to calibrate. (Default = NO.)

This menu provides the user with access to read-only information displays on the ODU as
configured for operation
. Select MODEL, TX+RX-PARAM, MISC, or NUMBERS using the

][] arrow keys, then press [ENT].

The following INFORMATION display examples are intended for reference only – the
information and values displayed in each example may differ, depending on the configuration in
use. After viewing each information screen, press [ENT] or [CLR] to return to previous menu.
