Response to Query

TX LO
Frequency

(CDM-600L ONLY)

TLO=

6 bytes

Command or Query.
BUC transmit LO frequency information in the form: xxxxxs, where:
xxxxx is the LO frequency in the range of 3000 to 65000 MHz
or 0=OFF
s=sign for the MIX

Note: For additional information refer to Appendix G. BUC FSK
COMMUNICATION
; LO, MIX , and Spectrum Settings.

Terminal Frequency = BUC LO

TPL?

TPL=xx.x
(see Description of
Arguments)

FOR CDM-600L:
Tx Output power level between 0 and -45 dBm in the form xx.x (minus
sign assumed). [Beyond –40 dBm exceeds the specification].

Example: TPL=13.4

Note: When Output Power Leveling is enabled, power level configuration
is not allowed, and this command is rejected. Response will be TPL*. The
response to the query TPL? will be the adjusted leveled value.

WHEN EXTERNAL 20dB ATTENUATOR IS PRESENT ON CDM-600L:
The power level indicated is the final power after the attenuator, if the
External 20dB Attenuator is present.

IN MANUAL (Normal) POWER MODE (AUP=0): Tx Output power level
may be configured between -45 and 0 dBm. [Between -45 and -40 dBm
exceeds the specification.]

IN MANUAL-LOW (Low Power) MODE (AUP=2): Tx Output power level
may be configured between -65 and -20 dBm in the form xx.x (minus sign
assumed). [Between -65 and -60 dBm exceeds the specification. The
power levels exceeding the specification are indicated on the front panel
menu by a

.]

See Appendix J. KT/11202-1 STEP ATTENUATOR KIT for further details.
FOR CDM-600:
Tx Output power level between 0 and -20 dBm (minus sign assumed).
Example: TPL=13.4

Command or Query.
Tx RS encoding

0=Normal (based on the Open Network framing mode selected)
1=IESS-310 mode – Available all framing modes, except EDMAC.
2=EF Data legacy standard (225,205) – Unframed only
3=IBS (126,112) – Unframed only

Available all framing modes, except EDMAC (this is a ‘don’t care’ if no
RS is selected under FEC Type)
