CONFIGURATION

Æ TX-PARAM

TX:OFF FREQ=13955 MHz ATT=23 dB
AGC=OFF

Select the parameter to edit – TX, FREQ, ATT, or AGC – using the [

][] arrow keys, then use

the [

][] arrow keys to modify that parameter setting. Press [ENT] when done. Observe the

following:

TX

(Tx State) Select ON or OFF.

FREQ

(Frequency) Edit the Tx frequency by first selecting the digit to be edited using
the [

][] arrow keys, then change the value of the digit using the [][] arrow

keys. Press [ENT] when done.

Note: The frequency limits of the KST-2000A are known and the frequency
values are constrained accordingly.

ATT

(Attenuation) Edit the attenuation value by first selecting the digit to be edited
using the [

][] arrow keys, then change the value of the digit using the [][]

arrow keys. Press [ENT] when done.

AGC

(Automatic Gain Control) Select ON or OFF.

CONFIGURATION

Æ RX-PARAM

(Displayed only when the ODU is a KST-2000A unit)

RX:OFF FREQ=11950 MHz ATT=20 dB
REF=087

(Displayed only when the ODU is a KST-2000B unit)

RX: FREQ=11950 MHz ATT=20 dB REF=087
BAND=B

Select the parameter to edit – RX (KST-2000A only), FREQ, ATT, REF, or BAND (KST-2000B
only
) – using the [

][] arrow keys, then use the [][] arrow keys to modify that parameter setting.

Press [ENT] when done. Observe the following:

RX

(Rx State, KST-2000A only) Select ON or OFF.

FREQ

(Frequency) Edit the Rx frequency by first selecting the digit to be edited using
the [

][] arrow keys, then change the value of the digit using the [][] arrow

keys. Press [ENT] Press [ENT] when done.

Note: The frequency limits of the KST-2000A are known and the frequency
values are constrained accordingly.

ATT

(Attenuation) Edit the attenuation value by first selecting the digit to be edited
using the [

][] arrow keys, then change the value of the digit using the [][]

arrow keys. Press [ENT] when done.

REF

(Reference) Edit the Internal 10 MHz Reference value by using the [

][] arrow

keys – the value will scroll between 000 and 255. Press [ENT] when done.

NOTE: The Internal Reference is adjusted in the factory to be very accurate
with the default setting of 087. This parameter is made available to
compensate for the long-term frequency drift of the oscillator.

BAND=?

(LNB Rx Frequency Band, KST-2000B only) See next item for further details.
