E.3.3.1 (SELECT:) ODU (CSAT-5060 Transceiver)
ODU CONTROL=ENABLE (DISABLE/ENABLE)
SYSTEM TYPE=STANDALONE (STANDALONE,1:1)
Select the parameter to edit – ODU CONTROL or SYSTEM TYPE – using the [
←][→] arrow
keys, then use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to modify that parameter setting. Press [ENT] when done.
Observe the following:
ODU CONTROL:
DISABLE, ENABLE
DISABLE Turns OFF the FSK link to the ODU.
ENABLE Turns ON the FSK link to the ODU. Once the FSK link to the ODU
is enabled, the CDM-600 senses the active ODU model and automatically
adjusts the front panel menu displays specific for that product (i.e.,
CSAT-5060 or KST-2000A/B).
SYSTEM TYPE:
STANDALONE, 1:1
Select STANDALONE when the CDM-600 is linked via the Rx IF cable to a
single (standalone) Comtech EF Data CSAT-5060 ODU.
Select 1:1 when the CDM-600 is linked to a redundant CSAT-5060 system
via connection between the Rx IF and the ODU Redundancy Controller Box.
