STATE
Set the LNA State as ON or OFF to define whether or not the CSAT will
provide LNA Power via the Receive RF Cable.
CALIBRATE-
LNA-
CURRENT
Select YES or NO to define whether or not if the LNA Current is calibrated for
use with the Current-Window function. (Default is NO).
CURRENT-
WINDOW
Use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to define a value – between 20% and 50% - for the
allowable LNA Current change before declaring a fault.
Select 99% to disable the Current-Window function.
FAULT-
LOGIC
Set FAULT-LOGIC as SUMMARY or NO-SUMMARY to control whether or not
a LNA Current-Window fault will activate the Summary Fault Relay. This
determines whether or not to switch the Online/Offline CSAT in the event of a
LNA Current-Window fault.
CONFIGURATION
Æ MISCELLANEOUS
MISC: COLD-START=DISABLE AFR=ENABLE
XREF=NO REF-ADJUST=087 RTC=OFF
Select the parameter to edit – COLD-START, AFR, XREF, REF-ADJUST, or RTC –
using the [
←][→] arrow keys, then use the [↑][↓] arrow keys to modify that parameter
setting. Press [ENT] when done. Observe the following:
COLD-START
Select ENABLE or DISABLE to determine whether or not the IF and RF
outputs are muted once the CSAT is powered on.
• When Cold-Start is ENABLED, the IF and RF outputs will mute for 15
minutes once the CSAT is powered on.
• When Cold-Start is DISABLED, no output muting occurs.
AFR
(Automatic Fault Recovery) Select ENABLE or DISABLE to define how
CSAT will react to momentary fault conditions:
• When AFR is ENABLED, the CSAT will mute when faulted, but unmute
after the fault goes away.
• When AFR is DISABLED, a fault will cause the CSAT to mute and
remain muted.
XREF
(External Reference Lock) Select YES or NO to define whether or not the
Summary Fault Relay is activated if the CSAT loses lock with the external
reference:
• When
YES is selected, the CSAT will automatically lock to an external 5
or 10 MHz reference independent of the state of this selection.
REF-ADJUST
(Internal Reference Adjustment) Edit the Internal 10MHz Reference setting
by using the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to scroll between 000 and 255.
NOTE: The Internal Reference is adjusted in the factory to be very accurate
with the default setting of 087. This parameter is made available to
compensate for the long-term frequency drift of the oscillator.
RTC
(Real-Time Clock) Select ON or OFF to determine whether or not to
synchronize the CSAT RTC to the CDM-600 RTC. (Default is OFF.)
