SELECT: CONFIGURATION MONITOR ALARMS
INFORMATION
Select CONFIGURATION, MONITOR, ALARMS, or INFORMATION using the [
←][→]
arrow keys, then press [ENT].
The selections for this common submenu branch are defined in detail in Sect. 3.3.1.3.

ÆREDUNDANCY-BOX
RED: ONLINE:ODU2 MODE:AUTO SWITCH:N
TXSW:OK RXSW:OK 5V:5.0 12V:12.0
On the top line, select the parameter to edit – MODE or SWITCH – using the [
←][→] arrow
keys, then use the [
↑][↓] arrow keys to modify that parameter setting. Press [ENT] when done.
The remaining parameters provide read-only redundant system status information. Observe the
following:
ONLINE
(Online ODU – read-only) Indicates the currently online unit as ODU1 or ODU2
MODE
(Switchover Mode) Set the switchover mode as AUTO or MANUAL.
In AUTO mode, when the Online ODU faults, switchover is done automatically to
replace the faulty unit.
Note: If the ODU Redundancy system is in AUTO mode, a ‘forced switchover’ can
only occur if the currently OFFLINE unit is fault-free.
SWITCH
(Force Switchover) Select YES to force a Switchover to the other unit. (Default is
NO).
TXSW
(Waveguide Switch Status – read-only) These display status for both the Tx and
Rx Waveguide Transfer Switches. If either Switch is reporting an ambiguity from the
commanded position, “OK” will change to “FT” to indicate a switch fault.
RXSW
5V
(Redundancy Controller Box Voltages – read-only) The monitored 5V and 12V
voltage values inside the Redundancy Controll box can assist in troubleshooting
system problems.
