You can’t use the name PICT, which is used by the HP 48 to
contain the current graphics object.
Certain names are legal variable names, but are used by the HP 48
for specific purposes. You can use these names, but remember that
certain commands use them as implicit arguments: if you alter
their contents, those commands may not execute properly. These
variables are called
reserved variahles:

EQ
refers to the equation currently used by the SOLVE and
PLOT applications.

contains data for custom menus,

EDAT
contains the current statistical matrix.

contains the data for an alarm being built or edited.
