Ethernet Ports

The MATE3 is preprogrammed to use the following ports for Ethernet communication. These ports are
adjustable if required. See pages 24 through 28.

Data Stream

Two choices are available for downloading information. Only one can be utilized at this time.

 Use the

Network Data Stream

option if the data is destined for a network server.

 The

Serial Data Stream

option is intended to send data to a personal computer. This feature is not usable at

this time.

System Name

The

System Name

screen allows the installer to give the installation a unique name and status title.

Set Points:

Name – Any combination of characters up to 30

characters maximum. This information is displayed by
the web site interface (if used).

Status Title – (Optional) Any combination of characters

up to 15 characters maximum. This name is displayed
on the Home screen.

Set Points:

HTTP – Range 1 to 65535 (Default 80)
FTP – Range 1 to 65535 (Default 21)
Telnet – Range 1 to 65535 (Default 23)

Set Points:

For connecting to a personal computer:

Serial Data StreamEnabled or Disabled

Serial Baud Rate9600,19200, 34800, or 57600

For connecting to a network server:

~

Network Data StreamEnabled or Disabled

~

Destination IP – The IP address of the host computer
or server.

Destination Port – The port number assigned to the
MATE3 on the host computer or server.
