Parameter Description
Designated Root This parameter specifies the unique Bridge Identifier of
the Bridge recorded as the Root for the segment to
which the port is attached.
Designated Bridge This parameter specifies the Bridge Identifier of the
bridge, which this port considers to be the Designated
Bridge for this port's segment.
Designated Port This parameter specifies the Port Identifier of the port
on the Designated Bridge for this port's segment.
Designated Cost This parameter specifies the path cost of the
Designated Port of the segment connected to this port.
Regional Root This parameter specifies the unique Bridge Identifier of
the bridge recorded as the CIST Regional Root
Identifier in the configuration BPDUs transmitted.
Regional Path Cost This parameter specifies the contribution of this port
to the path cost of paths towards the CIST Regional
Root, which includes this port.
Type This parameter specifies the operational point-to-point
status of the LAN segment attached to this port. It
indicates whether a port is considered to have a point-
to-point connection or shared media.
Role This parameter specifies the ports current role as
defined by the Spanning Tree Protocol.
Port State This parameter specifies the port's current state as
defined by the application of the Spanning Tree
Protocol.
