a. Execute the below command in the Linux shell.
openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:1024 -keyout
cakey.pem -out cGatewayt.pem
b. Execute the below command also in a Linux shell.
openssl x509 -req -in a.csr -out cert.pem -CA
cGatewayt.pem -CAkey cakey.pem -CAcreateserial
The above steps will generate the certificate file cert.pem.
5. Open the generated certificate file
cert.pem
and delete the first
line (---BEGIN CERTIFICATE ---) and last line (----END CERTIFICATE--).
6. Join all the remaining lines as single lines to avoid line breaks
being processed and copy/paste these joined texts in the E
NTER
C
ERTIFICATE
text box back in the SSL C
ONFIGURATION
page.
7. Click the CONFIGURE button.
This configures the certificate and saves it to flash memory.
