AT+CPBR Read from Phonebook

AT+CPBR

serves to read one or more entries from the phonebook selected with AT command

AT+CPBS

The

AT+CPBR

test command returns the location range supported by the current phonebook storage, the maxi-

mum length of

field and the maximum length of

field.

Note: Length information may not be available while SIM storage is selected. If storage does not offer format

information, the format list contains empty parenthesizes.

The

AT+CPBR

write command determines the phonebook entry to be displayed with

. Hence, if no

is given only the entry at

will be displayed.

If no entries are found at the selected location "OK" will be returned.

Syntax

Parameter Description

The first (lowest) location number within phonebook memory where to start reading. The maximum range sup-

ported by the current phonebook is given in the test command response.

exceeds the upper bound

(as indicated by the test command), command will

respond with "+CME ERROR: invalid index".

The last (highest) location number within phonebook memory where to stop reading. The maximum range sup-

ported by the current phonebook is given in the test command response.

If both

are in the range indicated by the test command parameter
