8.3 Dot1P Commands

8.3.1 classofservice dot1pmapping

This command maps an 802.1p priority to an internal traffic class for a device when in 'Global Config' mode. The number of

available traffic classes may vary with the platform. Userpriority and trafficclass can both be the range from 0-7. The command

is only available on platforms that support priority to traffic class mapping on a 'per-port' basis, and the number of available

traffic classes may vary with the platform.

8.3.2 show classofservice dot1pmapping

This command displays the current 802.1p priority mapping to internal traffic classes for a specific interface. The slot/port

parameter is required on platforms that support priority to traffic class mapping on a 'per-port' basis.

This command configures the port priority assigned for untagged packets for all ports presently plugged into the device. The

range for the priority is 0-7. Any subsequent per port configuration will override this configuration setting.

This command configures the default 802.1p port priority assigned for untagged packets for a specific interface. The range for

the priority is 0-7
