(8) Modifying and Deleting F-Code Based Relay Boxes
Perform the following procedure when you want to modify or delete
final destinations or change other information registered under any
F-Code Based Relay Box, as well as when you want to completely
delete one of those boxes.
* You CANNOT modify a registered F-Code password. If you want to
change an F-Code password, delete the corresponding F-Code
Based Relay Box and then register it again with the desired
password.
* You CANNOT delete an F-Code Based Relay Box which still
contains received documents.
* If you want to cancel the procedure part way through, press the
Reset key. The operation panel will return to the initial mode
settings.
1. Perform steps 1 - 3 of “(7) Registering F-Code Based Relay
Boxes”, page 4-16.
2. Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select the F-Code
Based Relay Box you want to modify or delete.
3. Select whether you want to modify information that is registered in
that box or to completely delete the box, and then perform the
corresponding procedure below.
> Modifying information in the box

Press the Enter key.

Enter the 4-digit F-Code password that corresponds to that
box.

Press the Enter key.

Use the cursor up or the cursor down key to select the item that
you want to modify and then press the Enter key.
* Refer to “(7) Registering F-Code Based Relay Boxes”, page 4-16,
for instructions in regard to each item.

After you have completed the desired modification and the
message display has returned to the same message as in step
4
, press the cursor up key to select “End”.
> Deleting the box

Press the Stop/Clear key.

Enter the 4-digit F-Code password that corresponds to that
box.
4. Press the Enter key. The information for that box will be modified
or the F-Code Based Relay Box completely deleted, as
appropriate.
> If you want to continue modifying and/or deleting other F-Code
Based Relay Boxes, return to step 2.
> If you are finished modifying and/or deleting F-Code Based
Relay Boxes, press the Reset key. The operation panel will
return to the initial mode settings.
